Support The American Youth Film Festival

Do you believe in dreams? Do you believe that dreams do come true? Every day, millions of young people create short films and videos which they then upload to social media sites like YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, SnapChat or Facebook. Many of these young people are aspiring student filmmakers and photographers who dream of creating movies that audiences can connect with, become a part of and somehow get lost in, but they need your support to make their dreams a reality. The American Youth Film Festival, a dynamic, professional level film festival, provides the perfect platform for student filmmakers to showcase their creative writing, film making, and story-telling talents. The festival has a unique quality in that it allows filmmakers to use cell phones, digital cameras or video cameras, tools that are readily available among today's youth, to tell their story. 

Since our successful 2015 launch, we have screened student films from thirty-seven states and twelve foreign countries, and it is the festival's dream to build on this enthusiasm, hosting future festivals with the help of schools, businesses, communities, and arts patrons like you. The American Youth Film Festival is a perpetual investment in the creative growth of student filmmakers and photographers, expanding their artistic image and has the potential to become a thriving attraction year after year, but we cannot accomplish this without your support.

Please take a moment to consider how you, and those in your social circle, can contribute to the dream of this festival.  Contributions of all kinds are welcome and accepted!  An AYFF sponsorship can take many different forms. It can include financial support, in-kind donations, award sponsorships, swag-bag contributions, mentorships, volunteers, or any other type of assistance that aids in our efforts to produce the premiere youth film festival and bring the AYFF mission to life.  Your contribution advances the arts and makes it affordable for student filmmakers to submit their projects, attend screenings, meet other aspiring filmmakers and network with independent filmmakers and industry professionals through meet & greets, workshops and panel discussions at the festival.  Funds collected will also support the American Youth Film Festival efforts to host summer camps for actors, filmmakers, screenwriters, photographers, and animators, campers will work together to produce a short film. This provides each student the opportunity to play a valuable role in the production of a film while receiving the hands-on instruction needed to perfect their craft.
